What Stephen Colbert is doing is brilliant.
He’s pointing out nearly every flaw in the American electoral system through his use of his (now Jon Stewart’s) SuperPAC and now his attempted Presidential run. This whole use of Herman Cain being on the ballot as a vessel to gauge interest is absolutely genius.
He is my favorite person on television, followed very closely by Stewart. His satire is fantastically well thought out, and he makes a real impact by bringing it out into the real world.
The staffers on both shows deserve every award they have ever earned and more. They are my heroes.
I know I’m not saying anything new here, I just needed to post my feelings about this.
